Wall smoothing

We offer theese type of Wall smothing services.

Skim Coating:

Skim coating involves applying a thin layer of joint compound or plaster over the entire wall surface to create a smooth, uniform finish. It’s typically used on drywall or plaster surfaces with minor imperfections, such as small dents, cracks, or texture irregularities. After applying the skim coat, it’s sanded to achieve a smooth, paint-ready surface.

Sanding and Priming:

This method is used when the existing wall surface has minor imperfections or roughness. It involves sanding the wall with sandpaper or a sanding block to smooth out any bumps or rough spots. After sanding, the wall is cleaned, primed, and then painted to achieve a smooth finish.

Texture Removal:

If your walls have a textured finish, such as popcorn or stucco, you may choose to remove the texture for a smoother look. This can be done by scraping off the texture with a putty knife or specialized texture removal tools. Once the texture is removed, the wall can be patched, sanded, and painted for a smooth finish.

Drywall Installation:

Installing new drywall sheets is often the best solution for walls with extensive damage or imperfections. After hanging the drywall and taping the seams with joint compound, multiple coats of joint compound are applied and sanded smooth to create a seamless and smooth wall surface.

Wall Paneling or Wallpaper:

If you prefer not to work with joint compound or plaster, you can cover your existing walls with wall paneling or wallpaper. Wall paneling comes in various styles and materials, providing a smooth and even surface. Wallpaper can also be used to hide imperfections and create a smooth, decorative finish.
